Atunluse Initiative Felicitates With Muslim Faithfuls.
Leaders of the Egbe Atunluse have extended their warmest wishes to Muslims around the world as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement released by the chairman of the organization Otunba Akin Akinbobola, he described Eid-el-Fitr as a moment of joyous renewal and hope, emphasizing the importance of virtues learned during Ramadan.
“The month of Ramadan offered Muslim faithfuls a divine path to imbibe a spirit of kindness, love, tolerance, peace, self-denial, good neighborliness, and total submission to the will of Allah,” he said.
Akinbobola urged Nigerian Muslims to replicate these virtues in their everyday conduct, emphasizing the need to work towards a society where peace, love, and prosperity reigns, regardless of diversity in beliefs.
“As we celebrate, we should not forget the lessons learnt, to wit, the spirit of piety, alms-giving, of compassion, and love for fellow men,” he added.
Akinbobola, also called for prayers for the nation, stating, “We are a prayerful nation and a community of believers. Let us remember, as always, our country this season, and I enjoin the Ummah to continue to make supplications to Allah to heal the ills of the nation and favor us with peace and progress.”
