YEYE IYANIWURA OODUA AGBAYE, CHIEF MRS. ADA AKPATA MARSHAL, APPLAUDS PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU FOR HIS INTERVENTION IN ONDO STATE POLITICAL CRISES

In a recent development, Yeye Iyaniwura Oodua Agbaye, Chief Mrs. Ada Akpata Marshal, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his timely intervention in the political crises currently rocking Ondo State. The respected chief and convener of WOMEN YOUTH IN POLITICS IN NIGERIA expressed her appreciation for Tinubu's efforts in resolving the conflict and restoring peace to the state.

The political crises in Ondo State began, when the Deputy Governor found himself at odds with the Governor over allegations and counter allegations of disloyalty, inordinate ambition,leading to a strained relationship and a deadlock in governance. As tensions escalated, the state was left in a state of uncertainty, with concerns over the smooth functioning of the government and the welfare of her citizens. 

At the height of the tussle, the President,Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu summoned the embattled Deputy Governor,Hon.Lucky Aiyedatiwa and some leaders of  the party(APC) for the second time. At the end of the meeting,the President then directed that power should be transmitted to the Deputy Governor without condition and as a Doctrine of Necessity.As a result, the Deputy Governor has been elevated to the position of Acting Governor, ensuring the continuity of governance and the smooth functioning of the state.

Chief Mrs. Ada Akpata Marshal, a highly respected figure in Yoruba land and a staunch supporter of the APC, lauded Tinubu's intervention, describing it as a timely and necessary step towards resolving the political impasse in Ondo State. She emphasized the importance of unity within the party and expressed her confidence in Tinubu's ability to bring about a peaceful resolution.

Furthermore, Chief Mrs. Ada Akpata Marshal highlighted the significance of President Tinubu's intervention in maintaining the stability and progress of Ondo State. She emphasized the need for all parties involved to prioritize the interests of the people and work towards a peaceful resolution that would allow for the smooth running of governance in the state.

The respected chief IYANIWURA also called on all stakeholders in Ondo State to support President Tinubu's efforts and work towards a united front. She stressed the importance of dialogue, compromise, and adherence to democratic principles in resolving political conflicts.Chief Mrs. Ada Akpata Marshal concluded by expressing her confidence in President Tinubu's leadership and his ability to steer the APC towards a successful resolution of the crisis in Ondo State. She urged all parties involved to put aside personal interests and work towards the greater good of the state and its people.
