HON. NIFEMI CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA, URGES HIM TO SERVE THE PEOPLE WELL.

Hon. Mrs. Aregbesola Nifemi Congratulates Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Urges Him to Serve the People Well as the New Governor of Ondo State

Akure, Ondo State 

Hon. Mrs. Aregbesola Nifemi Wadel, a prominent political figure and former House Representative Candidate on the platform of PRP in 2023 general election, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Lucky Orimisan  Aiyedatiwa as he was recently sworn-in as the substantive   Governor of Ondo State.

In a statement released on Thursday and made available to The People's Lens Magazine in Akure the state capital, Hon. Mrs. Nifemi who's the founder of Nigerian Unique Mother Leadership Initiative(NUMLI) expressed her delight at the appointment, stating that it is a testament to Hon. Aiyedatiwa's dedication to public service and his proven track record of excellence. She urged the new Governor to use his tenure to serve the people of Ondo State well, focusing on key areas such as education, healthcare, security and infrastructure development.

Hon. Mrs. Nifemi, who is also the National Women Leader of H.E Dr. Ganduje Support Group and Treasurer Coalition 2020 now Egbe Atunluse, has been an advocate for women's rights and empowerment, encouraged Governor Aiyedatiwa to prioritize gender equality and create opportunities for women to participate in decision-making processes at all levels of his government.

"I am confident that with his wealth of experience and commitment to public service, Governor Aiyedatiwa will lead Ondo State to greater heights. I urge him to prioritize the welfare of the people and work towards a more inclusive and prosperous state for all, Sir you should also include PWD in your government " Hon. Mrs. Nifemi said. 

His Excellency Lucky Aiyedatiwa, former deputy governor of  Ondo State, was sworn in as the substantive  Governor following the demise of the Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, CON in Germany on  Wednesday morning after a prolong battle with blood cancer. His appointment has been widely welcomed by residents of the state, who are hopeful that his tenure will bring about positive change and development the people are yearning for. 

As Ondo State prepares for a new chapter under Governor Aiyedatiwa's leadership, the support and encouragement from political  leaders like Hon. Mrs. Nifemi will undoubtedly play a crucial role in shaping the state's future.
"  I want to congratulate you, Your Excellency on this new ROLE, and I want to also urge you to serve the people of Ondo state well so that your name can be written with golden pen in the anal of history"Nifemi concluded.
