CHIEF ADA ADARANIWA URGED AIYEDATIWA TO FOCUS ON UNITING THE STATE AND SPEED UP DEVELOPMENT.
Chief Mrs Ada Adaraniwa Akpata Marshal, the Yeye Iyaniwura Oodua Agbaye , a prominent political figure, and astute women mobilizer, has congratulated Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his recent elevation to the position of Acting Governor of Ondo State.
In a statement released on Thursday through her Director of Media and Publicity Hon.Famesa Olusegun, Chief Adaraniwa expressed her delight at the appointment and urged the new Acting Governor to unite the state and speed up development.
Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa was recently sworn in as the Acting Governor of Ondo State following the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly to transmit power to him without condition as a matter of Doctrine of Necessity.
His appointment has been widely welcomed by political leaders and stakeholders in the state, who see him as a capable and experienced administrator.
In her statement, Chief Adaraniwa described Hon. Aiyedatiwa as a man of integrity and a committed public servant who has the interest of the people at heart. She commended his track record of service and his dedication to the development of the state, hence she charged him to use his new position to bring about positive change in the state."I am delighted to congratulate Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his appointment as Acting Governor of Ondo State," Chief Adaraniwa said. "He is a man of integrity and a committed public servant who has the interest of the people at heart. However, I do not doubt that he will use his new position to bring about positive change in the state and speed up development.
"Chief Mrs Ada Adaraniwa, who's the convener of Women Youth In Politics also urged Hon. Aiyedatiwa to focus on uniting the state and promoting peace and harmony among the people. She called on him to work closely with all stakeholders, including political leaders, traditional rulers, and civil society organizations, to ensure that the state remains peaceful and prosperous."I urge Hon.
