HON. (MRS) MARY ABIOLA APPOINTED AS SPECIAL ADVISER. 

The Ondo State APC secretariat was filled yesterday as Party Leaders, Women Leaders from all the Local Government and party loyalists, and women folks gathered together to witness the inauguration of State Women Mobilizers. At the event, Hon. (Mrs) Abiola Mary was sworn in as the Special Adviser to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Leader on Women Mobilization alongside other SAs from the 17 local governments in Ondo State. The swearing-in was performed by the National Women Leader of the APC, Hon. (Mrs). Mary Alile Idele.

Hon. (Mrs) Abiola Mary is a seasoned politician and a grassroots mobilizer with a wealth of experience in women's mobilization and empowerment. She is one of the staunch supporters of Senator Jide Ipinsigba she worked assiduously for him to emerge as the Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District at the National Assembly. Mary has been actively involved in politics for many years and has held various positions in the party at the local government level.

In her new role, Hon. (Mrs )Abiola Mary will be responsible for mobilizing women across Akoko Northwest of Ondo State and working towards delivering the local government for APC in the coming 2024 guber election. Moreover, Hon. Mary's role requires them to actively participate in the political process and support the APC in its efforts to build a better Ondo State She will also work closely with the Women Leader to develop and implement strategies that will empower women and promote gender equality in the party.

Speaking on the appointment, the APC National Women Leader Hon.Mrs Mary Alile Idele expressed her confidence in the Special Advisers and their ability to deliver on the mandate given to them. She also urged all women in the party to support and work with the appointees to achieve the party's objectives.

Amidst rowdy cheers, the guests at the event listened with rapt attention to the speech of the wife of Ondo State Governor Arabinrin Betty Akeredolu Anyawun, Ada Owerri 1. The mama Solayo as she popularly called, enjoined the appointees to bring fresh ideas and maintain a healthy relationship with women across the board. She urged them to start preaching the good gospel of APC henceforth. 

 Speaking with The People's Lens Magzine, Hon. (Mrs) Abiola Mary thanked the National Women Leader for the opportunity to serve and has pledged to work tirelessly to promote the interests of women in the party and Akoko Northwest  in Particular. She has also called on all women in her local government to join hands with her to build a stronger and more inclusive APC.

In her vote of thanks, she appreciated Senator Jide Ipinsagba, Mama Aje(Mama KK) SSA to the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Mrs Temitope Ogunmolasuyi for their love and support so far.  Mrs Mary especially appreciated her lovely husband " I thanked my lovely husband who gave me the opportunity and opened the door of politics for me" she said.
