AKURE CHIEF IMAM URGED POLITICIANS TO EMULATE GBENGA FALAYE.

THE GRAND UNVEILING OF HON. GBENGA FALAIYE FOUNDATION. 

The main hall of the Ondo State Library, Akure was filled to the brim as dignitaries and participants were present to witness the grand Unveiling of Gbenga Falaye Foundation. At the event yesterday, the Chief Imam of Akure, Alhaji Abdulakeem Yayi Akorede in his address, called on politicians to emulate the exemplary leadership qualities of Hon. Gbenga Falaiye. The event, which was chaired by Otunba Afolabi Oyediran, saw Omooba Iwakun Taiwo serve as the guest speaker.

The Chief Imam commended Hon. Gbenga Falaiye for his commitment to the welfare of the people and his dedication to the development of his constituency. He urged other politicians to follow in his footsteps by prioritizing the needs of the people above personal gain and political interests."If all the politicians can imbibe the good gestures of Gbenga Falaye who even though he lost the last House of Representatives election, went ahead and found a foundation for the general welfare of his people." he said. The renowned cleric of repute also described most of the politicians we have today as"yahoo, yahoo" politician because of the way they care for the people only during the election. 

Hon. Gbenga Falaiye, a renowned philanthropist and grassroots politician, has been instrumental in the implementation of various community development projects in Akure. His foundation aims to further empower the less privileged, promote education, and improve healthcare services in the region.

During his speech, Otunba Afolabi Oyediran praised Hon. Gbenga Falaiye for his selflessness and dedication to the progress of Akure. He highlighted the importance of leaders who prioritize the welfare of their constituents and work towards the overall development of their communities.

As the guest speaker, Omooba Iwakun Taiwo emphasized the need for politicians to lead by example and serve as role models for the younger generation. He praised Hon. Gbenga Falaiye for his integrity, transparency, and commitment to people's welfare. The erudite scholar who is also the CEO of Old Skul Publications noted that the Gbenga Falaye Foundation stands at the forefront of emancipating the people from the cocoon of their financial  enslavement 

The launching of the Gbenga Falaiye Foundation witnessed a significant turnout of community leaders, political stakeholders, and well-wishers who expressed their support for the noble cause. The foundation aims to bridge the gap between the privileged and underprivileged, ensuring equal opportunities for all. 

During the event, the DG of the foundation, Chief(Hon.) Mrs. Ada Adaraniwa Marshal Akpata assured the attendees that the Foundation will not renege on her promise of bringing succor to the people, especially in this difficult time. She also appreciated the dignitaries who came to grace the occasion. She distributed food items, gifts, and money to the participants. 

Hon. Gbenga Falaiye expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received and pledged to continue working tirelessly for the betterment of his constituency. He promised that his foundation would work assiduously to fulfill its objectives and goals. 

The event concluded with a unanimous agreement among attendees that politicians should indeed emulate the exemplary leadership qualities of Hon. Gbenga Falaiye. The launch of the Gbenga Falaiye Foundation serves as a testament to his commitment to serving the people and inspiring positive change in Akure and beyond.
